SYMPOSIUM  CO CHAIR

Michael leads HNI Global Account management and workplace strategy engagements for APAC.  He  joined HNI in 2014 as the Marketing Director for HNI Lamex where he executed a rebranding of the Asia operating unit and led the real estate and design teams to building new showrooms and offices throughout APAC. During this time, he also was a key design resource for several new products launched in Asia.   More recently, he established the HNI Singapore Regional Office in late 2017.

Michael has 24 years of experience working the furniture industry in US and Asia including sales management, marketing, purchasing, merchandising and interior design.

JOSEPHINE LEE - CUMMINS

SYMPOSIUM  CO CHAIR

Josephine Lee is currently the APAC corporate real estate lead for Cummins Inc. She has 13 years of real estate experience where she was an industrialist with the local quasi government body; played the role of an account, portfolio and transaction management lead to provide strategic planning and analysis as well as execute cohesive account management structures for MNC clients in this region with international service providers. A firm diversity and inclusion advocate for women in the Property, Infrastructure & Construction industry, Josephine believes that women rule the world in kindness in leadership.

PROGRAM

Elizabeth Laws Fuller is a Director at WeWork covering Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, & Korea.  She leads the real estate finance team that structures catered solutions for large Enterprise requirements, leveraging flexible terms, amortized capital expenditures, and the world’s best practices for space utilization to meet clients’ particular space and workplace needs.  She also works on the programming & go-to-market strategies for WeWork’s major upcoming assets in Singapore.  

 

Elizabeth has worked in real estate finance, consulting, and investments for over 15 years across four continents and covering commercial, hospitality, residential, and development roles, including working at CBRE in both the USA and Singapore.  Elizabeth holds an SB in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) and an MBA in international business from IESE Business School (Spain).  She also studied business and economics at China-Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai and Cambridge University (UK). She rowed for Cambridge University Women’s Boat Club and is a member of Pembroke College.  Singapore is Elizabeth’s favourite country, and she hopes to live here forever.

NICHOLAS MERROW-SMITH - MERROWSMITH DESIGNS

PROGRAM

Nicholas is an experienced design professional with a broad portfolio of work. Principal of Merrowsmith Design Partnership which he established in 2015, Nicholas trained and worked in the UK before relocating to Singapore in 1993. He is recognized in the design community for his project work and passion for design. He has held a number of industry posts including the Presidency of the Interior Design Confederation Singapore, from 2009 to 2011. His extensive portfolio shows a willingness to design from the front and manage teams to bring about enduring solutions.

Significant milestone projects include the 700,000 sq ft NUH Medical Centre, commissioned in 2013, HSBC Flagship Branch at Collyer Quay, the upgrading of Hong Leong Building at 16 Raffles Quay and the interior fitout of Great Eastern Life’s headquarters in Cross Street. His design awareness and systematic approach has lead to a number of healthcare commissions in recent years where his work has been acknowledged by hospital teams, architects, medical planners and project consultants.

KAREN MIAGAO - ZENITH INTERIORS

TECHNOLOGY

Karen Miagao is the Regional Head- South East Asia for Zenith. Equipped with more than a decade of experience in the commercial furniture business, Karen’s role is to focus on Zenith’s expansion and growth plan in the region & the emerging markets. She is responsible in markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines & Thailand. Throughout her years of experience in the industry, her role entails developing specific market strategies to increase market share through global and regional client retention and expansion, as well as with strategic alliance partners. Originally from the Phillipines, Karen moved to Singapore 15 years ago.

Evvanna Chua is a Senior Director in the CBRE Transaction Management team, managing governance and operations as well as corporate occupier client account teams. Evvanna’s extensive experience in corporate real estate has developed from years spent within client teams of IBM and Microsoft, followed by Cushman & Wakefield where she was SEA Hub Lead for Transaction Management. During this time, Evvanna has played key roles in developing and managing real estate strategies for a wide range of clients from diverse industries and sectors. Evvanna holds a Masters of Technology Management from the University of Queensland (Australia) as well as Bachelor of Building (Honors) from the National University of Singapore.

AJAY CHURTAVEDI - STANDARD CHARTERED BANK 

TECHNOLOGY 

Ajay Chaturvedi, ASA Property Manager and ASEAN Cluster Head works for Standard Chartered Bank. A Global Bank with “Driving commerce and prosperity through our unique diversity”. Ajay leads the performance management effort of the CRE team in ASEAN and South Asian markets by identifying opportunities and inspiring country CRE teams to deliver. A Background in Retail Banking enhanced his Business acumen and understanding business of the bank. While the art of coding in Java is rusted the same does not apply to this PMP certified, Project Manager’s project management capabilities or ability to understand technology.

CHERYL GOH - SHAW CONTRACT

REGISTRATION

Cheryl Goh is a Regional Director at Shaw Industries; one of the world's largest flooring manufacturers and a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. Her role is to build strong, long-term and mutually beneficial partnering relationships with key multinational companies and large regional organisations, understand the customer's business drivers, structures and strategies to deliver the right solution. Aside from Singapore, Cheryl has lived in Malaysia, Norway, Dubai and the United Kingdom. This experience, coupled with her background in the interior fit-out, manufacturing and supply chain industries have given her a unique perspective in working across diverse cultures and often, in challenging situations.

STACEY MAHAR - SCHIAVELLO

REGISTRATION

Stacey Mahar is the Global Client Relationship Manager at Schiavello Singapore. In her role, she collaborates with clients and interior designers across South East Asia, Japan and Korea, bringing to life their visions, and creating the ideal furniture solutions for their workspace.

 

Stacey’s passion for problem solving and working with diverse cultures has been the catalyst to her success, allowing her to form strong, new partnerships and deliver benchmark projects for big global brands across the region. This includes the development of new standards for global clients to ensure consistent solutions in each location, as well as expanding and strengthening the dealer network in Asia. Her creativity and solutions-orientated approach has been instrumental in helping grow both the Singapore and regional business, further developing the product and service offering to meet client needs.

 Stacey holds a degree in Industrial Design from the Royal Melbourne Institute of technology and graduated with Honors.

Kimberly is a Client Services Manager with M Moser Associates and she joins the CRE industry after spending 10 years in the hospitality and tourism industry across various sectors – hotels, resorts, fine-dining restaurant, airlines & hospitality tech company.

 

Kimberly is a firm believer in lifelong learning and enjoys challenging herself and broadening her knowledge. A highly adaptable and driven team player, Kimberly’s strengths lies in her ability to communicate effectively and build long-term relationships. During the past 16 months in a new environment, she has played key roles in developing new businesses and relationships with clients from various industries.

Richard has extensive commercial experience, bidding and claims experience and is an excellent communicator with experience at Board Level. Richard also has the ability to focus on client delivery and project performance as well as strategic initiatives in relation to service improvements. Richard has a proven track record also in managing profit and loss, people and projects and demonstrates developed interpersonal skills combined with professionalism, intellect, determination and team work.

ALYSSA REINOSO - KNIGHT FRANK

MARKETING

Alyssa is a content marketing manager for Knight Frank Asia-Pacific. In her role, she plans and implements the content strategy and point of view for the occupier services and commercial agency (OSCA) business across 15 APAC markets, focusing on topics around commercial real estate, supply chain, logistics, industrial, wellness, workplace strategy, and employee experience. Prior to Knight Frank, she has extensive experience with strategic lead generation campaigns, digital marketing, and events for companies in various industries.

BON JOVI SABUG - TURNER & TOWNSEND

MARKETING

Bon Jovi Sabug is currently the Asia corporate real estate sector lead for Turner & Townsend. He has led capital programmes for key clients including Barclays, Goldman Sachs and Standard Chartered. He is now leading a global programme management office for Citi, responsible for driving governance, compliance and assurance for the bank’s commercial office, retail and facilities management projects across the globe.

​

He is also the Turner & Townsend corporate social responsibility lead for Southeast Asia, driving key programmes and events promoting employee well-being, community engagement and sustainability. He is active in the wider community, promoting standards and contributing towards the improvement of the profession and built environment. He has been involved as a speaker/moderator for industry seminars for Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Mr. Sindhu has extensive experience across all Corporate Real Estate work streams - Real Estate strategy ,Selection and Transactions, Design and Built ( Fit-out, greenfield and brown field projects) , Facility Management, Critical Engineering, Workplace strategy and portfolio management, CRE Finance, Security& EHS , Sustainability( Including LEED certification) and Business Continuity management.

His specialties are as: Strategic Planning, Change Management, Design& Development, Project Management, Real Estate Portfolio management and re-alignment, Lease & Contract Negotiations, Facility Management benchmarking and process developments, Financial Management, People development, Conflict management and Leadership.

Mr. Sindhu is currently the Vice President & Head RES,APAC with Mastercard. Prior to this he was Sr.Executive Vice President- Corporate Real Estate Management with Kotak Mahindra Bank from the Year Jan 2008 and  the Country Head- Global Facilities Management with Capgemini.
